“THE TABLE” A Young Networking Group on the Rise In Naperville, IL
On Tuesday, “The Table” Kicked off its first meeting of 2012!! Even though 4 original members were missing, the room was filled with excitement of young professionals from the surrounding Western Suburbs of Chicago ready to tackle the New Year! We held the meeting at Avenue Mortgage Corporation in Naperville at 7:30AM enjoying a complimentary breakfast and sharing ideas from each other’s perspective. What an amazing sight to see!! As this group continues to meet I am so impressed by the quality of driven people who show up! In fact, David Pendley, the owner of Avenue Mortgage commented, “This group looks so polished it could start its own company!” A great compliment coming from a successful entrepreneur himself!
At the meeting I presented the “vision” from which Molly Bornfriend, Todd Travis, Travis Nesse and myself have created embodying the perfect networking group.. A community with A RESORT STYLE FEEL! Not just a networking group, but building deeper relationships that go beyond business. Each having the earnest desire to give their time and efforts for someone else’s cause yet having fun in the process. The goal is to create a small community of like-minded individuals who can reach into our surrounding communities creating change in a positive manner! An “infectious” desire to change the environment using humility, servant leadership, integrity, and the motto of paying it forward. Something completely different from any other group out there!
As I left the meeting all I could here was the energy of people talking and sharing ideas! What a beautiful sound! NETWORKING AT WORK!!
